In the Sewing Studio project, the challenge was to transform a garage in a residential neighborhood of Lisbon into a Sewing Studio. The goal was to create an inviting atmosphere where visitors feel comfortable and relaxed, while immersing them in a world of art, design, and fashion. Natural stone floors and furniture conveyed luxury and warmth, while gold metal accents enriched the space. Neutral fabric textures on the furniture allowed the clothes and accessories to stand out, contrasted by a patterned rug and soft-hued stone flooring. Textured walls added elegance and uniqueness.
Large glass windows and doors with matte gold metal frames offered views of the garden, blending the interior with nature. Custom furniture fostered a connection with the outdoors, and both natural and artificial lighting were key in showcasing the art and design. A marble coffee table functioned as a display for fabric samples and jewelry, while clothing and accessories were elegantly presented on gold metal stands, giving the studio a minimalist, delicate feel. Terracotta-colored curtains in natural fabric divided workspaces, dressing rooms, and living areas, balancing privacy and openness.
